I'm Back!

Why hello there! Wow I did not realize how long it has been since I updated my blog! Life has been crazy and I had a free minute to update everyone what's been going on in our life :)

At Home: Mickal and I have been extremely busy with school. Mickal started last semester hoping to get a degree in Business Administration and I am hopefully wrapping up on my Associates degree. Most days we don't see each other till 9 pm because we go straight to work then school. It will be worth it when Mickal and I both have a degree :)

Mickal and I are enjoying our time with each other and still love being married :) No kids yet but hopefully sooner then later ;) We are defiantly excited when that chapter starts and talk about it often. For now we just love to daydream and talk about our future kids.

At Work: I received a new job at Intermountain Healthcare as a Patient Service Rep. It defiantly has been a change and it's been very different to start somewhere new after being somewhere for so long. I am starting to get a hang of things but defiantly still have a lot to learn :)

Mickal also got a new job at the beginning of the year! He is still working at Ogden School District but now works at the district building with maintenance and a truck driver. I am so proud of him and his growth in the district. He is such a hard worker and provides for our family!

I hope I have more time to sit down and blog more, I really do enjoy it. It's just very hard to get time to sit down and blog when you have every moment of your day planned out! :)

New Work badge :)

I was able to give Mickal a Xbox 1 for Christmas he LOVES it! (Probably too much)

changed up my hair! Love my red hair :)

The man who set Mickal and I up returned from his mission in December love you Keilan :)

St. George Trip 2014

I'll say it once and I'll say it again I HAVE THE BEST PARENTS EVER! They surprised me and Mickal two weekends ago tickets to the Little Mermaid in Tuachan for our birthdays! My grandparents live in St. George and it was fun to visit and spend time with them. We had a great trip seeing the play (which I HIGHLY suggest to anyone), seeing the Grand Canyon, visiting the Waffle and Corn Dog trucks and just being with my family! Here are some pictures from our weekend!

Mickal LOVES his pillow!

Yeah found a really ugly mug at a gift shop, naturally I had to take a picture with it!

My love for this guy grows everyday

St. George Temple

I LOVE CORNDOGS! These corndogs were the best!!!!

On our way to The Little Mermaid

4 Years at the Gold!

We all have had that one job (well I hope). The job with the best boss, the best employees, the best members/customers, and of course the best memories. That's what I have experienced the last 4 years I have been employed at Gold's Gym.

This month marks my 4th year at this company! There is no words to describe my job at Gold's. There is a reason I have stayed here so many years! It's great! Most importantly I love to be there. Okay I am lying there are those days where I don't want to go, that's because I want to be lazy not because I hate the place.

I started off working in the daycare and boy did I love it! My love for children grew, I worked with the best people and was just a great positive environment to work in.  I became so close to the children that I would add their parents on Facebook just so I could see all the cute pictures and see all their updates. Lots of my kids have moved or are now too old to go in the daycare. It really does feel like my own kids are growing up or moving away. That's why Facebook is a great invention because I can still stay updated on those sweet kids that I no longer see. I met some of my best friends in that daycare.  All my bridesmaids that I had on my special day have worked in that daycare (Ashlee, Candace, Mariah and Tami)! We all got along and had so much fun. Some days we were so crazy, but those are the days that I will remember the most.

Now I am working up front as a Front Desk employee. When I got promoted I was excited/scared at the same time. I never have done a office job before and didn't want to screw the job up. I was trained as a Fitness Consultant and I honestly had no clue what I was doing. This was a sale position and boy again, I had NO IDEA WHAT I WAS DOING! Sales was a lot harder then it looked, well I must of known a little what I was doing because my manager offered me the position and had me start immediately.  I have been up here ever since. I love my job at the Front Desk, I work with great people that have become my close personal friends who have to deal with me more than my husband does :) I have met so many amazing members, all I have to say is their are some really amazing people in this world, I have met pregnant women about to give birth, senior citizens who have the right to stay home but don't and watched people go to a size 22 to a 8. It's a great environment. Of course their are some members who give us a harder time then others but it really has taught me patience.

I write this post not to butter up my boss (if he's reading) or blog just to blog. I have stayed at a company for 4 years! A company that I love and will always love! I find that a accomplishment! It takes dedication and hard work to stay at a place for a long period of time. I know I won't be here forever, I do wish to start a career in the Dental Industry. But I know that I will never lose the memories or friendships I have gained here! Thinking about going elsewhere is scary but it's a must! But when the day comes I must leave Gold's Gym and start my career, I know that I have gained amazing friendships and memories because of this company.

We like to throw mini surprise parties :)

Dressing up for Halloween is one of my favorite memories!

Meet benson I feel in love with this boy and sadly has moved away! Look at the face!

I can transform you!

Ugly sweater day!

Christmas Eve in the daycare! Pajama day!

We like to represent at the movie theatre :)

The crafts weren't bad either :)

When your friends leave it really is hard but wish them the best

Yeah we even do snow removal too!

You met AMAZING people here! Bob Quick the man who biked from coast to coast with a pace maker! First person to do so with his heart condition! GO BOB!

Happy 4 years at Golds Gym to me!

Throwback Thursday: Drill Days

Lately I have been missing dancing like no other. I have had dreams about dancing again (yes dreams like more than one). I wish I could dance myself or teach again! Those were the times that I felt the happiest honestly is when I was dancing. I haven't danced for awhile and don't even know if I am even decent anymore!

I was going through my old pictures on Facebook the other day and found the picture below. I can't remember which competition we were at (Clearfield maybe?) We were getting ready for our dance routine and had some extra time to catch a quick picture. I love this picture because it has so much personality in one shot! These girls will always have a place in my heart. We were together 24/7. I never got sick of them (being honest). All the girls I ever danced with from studio to drill and the girls I taught will have a special in my heart.

This dance was one of my favorite dances. It was dark and different, not the average drill routine. I LOVED IT!!! I remember we performed this routine at our competition at Northridge and we felt the energy the whole time we KILLED IT! We came back into the dressing room and our coach had tears in her eyes! We all got so excited and squealed like little girls. Honestly I don't remember what place we took with this routine but seeing and feeling that was enough for me! I just miss dancing so much, I watch dance shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Dance Moms and just get so jealous of the people performing and do that art of dance. If I could rewind my years dancing i totally would!

Dear Husband

Dear Husband,

All I can say right now is thank you, thank you for being my husband.  I know I can be a handful at times (OK all the time) but you love me for me regardless of what I do.

You take all the knifes out of sight for me because you know how much they scare me.

You cover me up with blankets at night because even if our room is 80 degrees you know I still get cold.

You let me cry on your shoulder when ever life gets to tough to stand.

You laugh at my weird sense of humor even though I am not that funny.

You eat all my left over food when I don't finish my food (because I never do).

You surprise me at work with my favorite drinks, ice cream and food. (You should probably stop because you're making me fat)

You can't wait to have a family and get excited when we talk about our future children.

You have a strong love for the gospel just like me.

This is just a short list of what you do for me and there is many more I can list. I just want to thank you for being you and loving me for me.

Forever and Always Mickal

Temple Date

Going to the temple with my husband is probably the best date I could have with my husband. Lately life has been crazy and we don't get our date night every week like we usually do! So earlier this week Mickal told me he booked a sealing appointment at the Bountiful temple for us! I was so excited! Doing temple work with your husband is the best! But then he mentioned the time he booked the appointment for 6 am sealings! Wooooow, anyone who knows me knows that I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON! But I didn't let me down, I was going to the temple and it doesn't matter what time I go all that matters is that I go.

Satan has a way to get me to not go to the temple, every time I go to the temple he tries everything in his power to make sure I don't get there. My alarm went off at 4:30 and Mickal turned to me and said "are you sure you want to go? I know you are so tired" in my head yes, it would be nice to stay in bed and sleep. But, I know that was Satan trying to make sure I didn't go. I got right up and told Mickal we are going! Then when I was trying to get ready my straighter stopped working (nice try again Satan). But I threw my hair in a braid, got dressed and headed out on time!

The drive was perfect and the freeway was clear! The moon was still out and it was a full moon! It's so cool seeing a full moon to me! It's just beautiful! We pulled up to the temple and I got the feeling that this is where I was suppose to be, this is where my happy place is.  It's an amazing feeling! When we got there we were the first people in the temple! I walked into the dressing room and the room was filled with temple workers. I love temple workers they are so nice and helpful! After getting dressed and meeting Mickal outside we headed up to do the work! We were right on time (we thought) we get upstairs and a temple worker let us know the sealer had not arrived yet and we would have to wait till he got there! We didn't mind we picked up our scriptures and read them. Reading my scriptures in the temple makes life better, Heavenly Father makes sure you read what your suppose to at that time in your life!

Finally the sealer got there and we did our temple work! I love doing sealings with my husband, it makes me remember our sealing on our wedding day. Such a special day that I will never forget. It's also fun that I wear what I got married in every time I go to the temple.

After we left the temple we headed to breakfast and right home! After we got home you better believe I took a LONG nap! Totally worth it though. Going to the temple especially with my husband is the best date ever. :)

Bad picture but the full moon on the way to the temple!

Love my husband so much :)
