Christmas with the McMurray's

Wow life is getting so hectic it's hard to blog anymore! I just want to share my wonderful Christmas that I spent with my wonderful family and husband. First of all, can I just say how much I love Christmas...I LOVE CHRISTMAS!! It's my favorite time of year. I get to spend time with my family and not have to worry about work, school or anything. It's just me and my family! I have found out over the years that I love to give presents. Me seeing their reaction to their present is my absolute favorite. I would rather give then receive. But receiving isn't a awful thing either :)

Anyways on Christmas Eve I spent the day cleaning my apartment and wrapping presents mostly for my spoiled husband. Once Mickal got home from work I gave him his Christmas jammies and we headed to my mom's for our annual Christmas Eve party with the Millers :)

I love to be with my extended family they bring me so much joy and happiness it's hard to explain! Anyways! We hate lots and lots of food, talked and finally had our annual Christmas lesson about the first Christmas the true reason behind the Christmas season. One tradition we always do is while watching the Nativity LDS movie we turn the sound down and turn on the best Christmas song "Breath of Heaven Mary's Song" and it fits the story perfectly. It just makes the season that much better.

Christmas morning Mickal and I slept in (which was much needed) we opened our presents from each other. P.S. I spoiled him and LOVED IT! After we got ready and headed to my parent's house for brunch, to relax and spend time with one another. Pretty much the rest of the day was spent snacking, napping and relaxing! I wouldn't trade it for the world! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

Happy Holidays all you bloggers!

Forgotten carols/Nutcracker

Wow life has been busy! I haven't had time to blog! Anyways I had the great opportunity last week to go to the Forgotten Carols and the Nutcacker! What great shows! First of all I love shows! I love to go to theaters and watch performances. One of my guilty pleasures!

First, the Forgotten carols oh my goodness where do I even begin? I have grown up listening to the Forgotten Carols soundtrack but have never been to the actual show! My parents bought them for us as a early Christmas present and a great present it was! There is a point at the end of the show where you sing with Michael and say "We can be together forever someday" That point was very emotional to me. I can't even put into words what I felt but it was amazing! :)

Now the nutcracker! Our niece and nephews are in the nutcracker every year! What a joy they brought to us seeing them on the stage! They were meant for the spotlight :) the company did a great job at the nutcracker! Me being the dancer I LOVED watching the dancers! It made me miss dancing even more than I already do! Anyways go see the nutcracker you won't regret it! :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE MCMURRAY'S :)

Thanksgiving with the McMurray's!

I know this post is late but this holiday weekend has been crazy! But I just have to post about my Thanksgiving with my husband and family! :)

Food
Family
Friends
Games
Laughter
Love
Thankful
And so much more!

Our thanksgiving was fantastic! Mickal got up early to play Turkey Bowl with his brothers and friends! He got all his gear and got ready. I love Mickal before he plays football he gets so excited and energetic! He could of played all day if he could!
All ready to go to play Turkey Bowl!

After Mickal got home he showered and got ready to dig in at my Aunt Dawn's for her AMAZING food! So my aunt is probably the best cook in this world! If only I could cook like her! I love also getting together with my family! Family means more to me than anyone would know! So getting together is like heaven! After we ate we chatted played with the babies and after played werewolves. If you have never played it YOUR CRAZY! It's one of the funniest games and when my family and I play it's hilarious! Then after werewolves it was pumpkin pie time (duh pumpkin pie at thanksgiving is a must) after our bellies were fullest to the fullest it was time to depart and say goodbye!

After we left we headed to Mickals sisters house and played more games and had a good time. Ps never play Rook-most boring and confusing game ever!!

My first thanksgiving with my husband was a success. I can't believe last thanksgiving he was only home for 2 1/2 weeks! Time sure does fly!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Love the McMurrays!
